Moggio Udinese (, (ドイツ語:Moosach), (スロベニア語:Možac)) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia. ==Geography==
It is situated in the Friuli region, in the valley of the Fella River, a right tributary of the Tagliamento. Moggio is located about northwest of Trieste and about north of Udine. In the north, the mountains of the Carnic Alps stretch up to the border with Austria; beyond the Fella are the Julian Alps with the Resia Valley in the southeast. As of 31 December 2004, the municipality had a population of 1,991 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 It can be reached via the Autostrada A23. The municipality of Moggio Udinese contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bevorchians, Campiolo, Dordolla, Grauzaria, Moggessa, Monticello, Ovedasso, Pradis-Chiaranda, and Stavoli. Some smaller mountain villages are almost depopulated. Moggio Udinese borders the following municipalities: Amaro, Arta Terme, Chiusaforte, Dogna, Hermagor-Pressegger See (Austria), Paularo, Pontebba, Resiutta, Tolmezzo, Venzone.
